The Vault is a game about real feelings. Play it with care.

The Vault — Party Kit invites players to share light, personal confessions with their group. That can be funny and warm, but it can also touch on genuine emotions. Play only with people who want to play, and stop any time it stops feeling good.

The house rules exist to protect you

Every game in the kit runs on three rules, and they are there for a reason. Confessions are about yourself — never a real accusation about someone else. Anyone can pass or veto any prompt at any moment, with no explanation owed. And whatever is shared stays in the group — no screenshots, no repeating it outside. If a prompt is not right for your group, skip it.

What The Vault is not

The Vault is entertainment. A prompt, a codename or a “file” is part of a game, not a personality test, a lie detector, a diagnosis or professional advice. Answers can be true or made up — that is part of play — so nothing said in the game should be treated as a factual claim about anyone.

If a game moment upsets someone, pause and check in with your group first. For a problem with the kit itself, or feedback, email team@castvault.net. If anyone is at risk of real harm, contact local emergency or appropriate professional services; CAST is not an emergency service.
