Public beta · Version 2026-07-15-beta-2 · Effective 15 July 2026

CAST may produce uncomfortable content.

Stories are fictionalised entertainment created from self-submitted display names, abstract avatars, private group votes, automated rules and, where enabled, artificial intelligence. An output may be inaccurate, awkward, embarrassing, biased, emotionally unpleasant, suggestive, dark or simply wrong. Do not continue if that experience would be unsafe or unwelcome for you or your group.

What an output means

A CAST story is not a factual claim about anyone. It is not a diagnosis, personality assessment, lie detector, prediction or professional advice. A role such as “chaos agent”, “therapist” or “plot twist” is a game label, not a statement about character or conduct.

Content that may appear

Depending on the selected theme, group choices and generative system, a story may include fictional conflict, secrets, jealousy, betrayal, social rejection, suspense, awkward humour, relationship tension or other dramatic situations. The system should avoid severe or disallowed content, but automated safeguards can fail during a beta.

Do not submit

Before sharing

Review every story and video before anyone outside the group sees it. Keep the AI-generated-fiction disclosure visible. CAST automatically uses anonymous slot labels in exports for participants who did not grant optional public-export permission. Do not identify them manually, remove the disclosure or publish content that could be mistaken for fact, reveal private information or harm someone. CAST does not automatically publish group content.

If something goes wrong

Stop using or sharing the output. Preserve only the minimum information needed to report the problem, then email castapp.team@gmail.com. For an immediate threat to someone’s safety, contact local emergency or appropriate professional services; CAST is not an emergency service.

Beta limitations

Safety filters, generation, audio, video and continuity memory may malfunction or become unavailable. Data or outputs may be reset or deleted. A user remains responsible for reviewing what they choose to download, act on or publish.
